I met Annie at the WYD in Toronto, back in 2002. The only things I remember about her: she worked as a demolition worker (!!) and lived in Montreal. She joined our group only on the final trip to Toronto, after having seen the youth meeting in Montreal during the first week. For some mysterious reason I was perfectly able to understand her french-canadian slang. Annie is the first person I've ever met that was able to tell so much using so few words. So here we go:
- in life, ans especially in married life, you need to have a (life) project.
- her answer to my confession that I had just done something REALLY VERY immature and stupid and that I feeling like shit: Oh, you didn't listen to you...
- my answer to her fear of maybe having to become a nun: the Lord cannot ask you to do something you don't like.
